12 v 12 Alliance battle R/W
During the most recent FPE I spent most of my time on playing the 12v12 Alliance battles. I noticed a large amount of warriors, I also noticed most of them didn't carry Wild Blow.
I tweaked a Ranger stance tank build by ReZon, the result was a build that took a while to take down while under pressure.
R/W
Attributes
12 Tactics
10 Swordsmanship
12 Expertise (9 + Sup. Expertise + hat)
Skills
Sever Artery
Gash
Apply Poison
Healing Signet
Whirling Defense
Escape [e]
Riposte
Deadly Riposte
Equipment
Sword - Max damage req. 10 or under sword, any mods will do but preferably 3/-1 vamp and +5 defense. Have a non vamp weapon to switch to when not in combat.
Shield - Tactics requirement with +health while stanced or +health always, also try and use one with -2 damage recieved while stanced.
Crimson Carapace shield is perfect for this if you want to use a PvE character, otherwise just use the PvP Tall Shield with +45 and -2 stanced.
This build can take down most things without too much hassle, I mainly used it to capture towers early into the game since it is able to kill everything but the elementalist shrine by itself (Lightning Hammer is annoying ).
Ranger shrine should not pose much of a problem, just stance and kill them with degen and normal attacks.
Warrior shrine is arguably the easiest with ripostes bringing them down very quickly, coupled with the fact that they only seem to attack one at a time .
Also i picked off stray warriors that charge at me by stancing and then riposting. The -7 degen from Sever+Gash+Poison should take down a warrior fairly quickly along with ripostes.
I chose not to include a ressurection signet in this build because
1) I was starting to get fed up with ressing an Assassin, just to have him die again 10 seconds later.
2) There are Ressurection shrines scattered across the maps.
This build is very susceptable to trappers as you can't do anything while crippled + blind.
To conclude, this build may not be to your liking but I had loads of fun with it, also It's funny to wade through a bunch of Bone Fiends and stand next to the MM with whirling defense up ^_^.
